By accessing or using the 1ofAllTrades platform ("Platform"), operated by 1ofAllTrades ("Company," "we," "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1ofAllTrades is a marketplace platform that connects consumers ("Homeowners") with independent home service professionals ("Providers"). We do not perform home services ourselves. Providers listed on the Platform are independent contractors and are not employees of 1ofAllTrades.
You must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the United States to create an account. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
1ofAllTrades serves as a neutral marketplace. We do not endorse, guarantee, or warranty any Provider's qualifications, licensing, insurance, or workmanship. Homeowners are responsible for verifying Provider credentials before hiring. Cost estimates generated by the Platform are informational only and are not binding quotes.
Certain features require a paid subscription (Pro or Business tiers). Subscription fees, billing cycles, and cancellation terms are described on our Pricing page. All transactions between Homeowners and Providers are conducted directly between those parties; 1ofAllTrades is not a party to those transactions.
You retain ownership of content you post (reviews, photos, messages) but grant 1ofAllTrades a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the Platform. You agree not to post content that is defamatory, fraudulent, infringing, or otherwise unlawful. We may remove content that violates these Terms.
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) impersonate another person or entity; (c) scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform; (d) interfere with the Platform's operation; (e) circumvent subscription or access restrictions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 1ofAllTrades SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ANY SERVICES OBTAINED THROUGH IT. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to 1ofAllTrades in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1ofAllTrades, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in the State of California.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
